This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to

- representatives of our clients and partners.
This Policy describes how TRN collects, uses, discloses and protects personal and non-personal information, either submitted directly or through automated means by visitors and users of the Sites, candidates, anyone we assign to one of our clients, or individuals to whom we provide career services, or representatives of our clients and partners.

Information collected
We collect personal information about you in various ways, such as through the Sites, and publicly available sources. We also collect personal data through job applications and in connection with in-person recruitment, and in connection with our interactions with clients and partners.
Subject to applicable data protection laws, we may collect the following types of personal information:
Name, Address, Phone, Email, Education, SkypeID, Work History, Current Employer, Certifications, Membership, Family Status, Nationality, Reference List, Birthdate, National ID, License Number, IP Address, Assessment Results
How do we use your personal data?
We use your personal data to match your skills, experience and education with a potential employer. We will initially collect basic information on you such as contact details, job role and experience and then pass this on to the client in search of personnel. If you are chosen
by the client and go through to the next stage we will then be collecting more information from you at the interview (or equivalent) stage and onwards in that manner.

Analytics
We use Google Analytics to measure and evaluate access to and traffic on the Public Area of the Site, and create user navigation reports for our Site administrators. Google operates independently from us and has its own privacy policy, which we strongly suggest you review. Google may use the information collected through Google Analytics to evaluate Users’ and Visitors’ activity on our Site. For more information, see Google Analytics Privacy and Data Sharing.
We take measures to protect the technical information collected by our use of Google Analytics. The data collected will only be used on a need to know basis to resolve technical issues, administer the Site and identify visitor preferences; but in this case, the data will be in non-identifiable form. We do not use any of this information to identify Visitors or Users.
Purpose
The information we collect from you is used to improve the quality of the Sites and the services provided to you, to communicate information about our services and products, and to contact you about your applications and queries in order to provide recruitment services upon request.
How TRN uses information collected
We use the information to support the following: Candidate searching and maintenance of database; Candidate application and hiring; Reference Checking; Sales; Internal TRN employment.
Interest-based advertising
Interest-based advertising is the collection of data from different sources and across different platforms in order to predict an individual’s preferences or interest and to deliver to that individual, or his/her computer, smart phone or tablet, advertising based on his/her assumed preference or interest inferred from the collection of data pertaining to that individual or others who may have a similar profile or similar interests.
We work with a variety of third parties to attempt to understand the profiles of the individuals who are most likely to be interested in TRN services so that we can send them promotional emails, or serve our advertisements to them on the websites and mobile apps of other entities.
Who do we share your personal data with?
We share your personal data with the client who has a position to fill, in order to determine with the client whether you are a good fit for the available position.
We may also conduct checks on you to verify the information you have provided.
TRN does not sell or otherwise share your personal information with other companies or organizations for commercial purposes. TRN will not disclose personal information to third parties in the normal course of operations, unless it is legally obligated to disclose information to governments or other third parties.
Service Providers
We work with third party service providers who provide website, application development, hosting, maintenance, and other services for us. These third parties may have access to, or process Personal Data or Client Data as part of providing those services for us. We limit the information provided to these service providers to that which is reasonably necessary for them to perform their functions, and our contracts with them require them to maintain the confidentiality of such information. To the extent such service providers process personal data on behalf of TRN, TRN will enter into applicable data processor agreement with the relevant company.
What legal basis do we have for using your information?
With reference to the EU General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) Article 6, letters A, B and F:
For candidates, referrals and clients, our processing is based on the fact that the processing is necessary for our legitimate interests in that we need the information in order to be able to assess suitability for potential roles, to find potential candidates, and to contact clients and referrals. In some instances, our processing is based on the data subjects’ consent.
For clients, we may also rely on our processing being necessary to perform a contract for you, for example in contacting you.
Your rights
In accordance with applicable data protection laws, we offer you certain choices in connection with the personal information we collect and process. To update your preferences, request access and information, or to request deletion, restriction or rectification or data portability, object to processing, or to lodge a complaint, please contact us as indicated below in the “How to contact us” section. You may at any time withdraw a consent previously provided to us.
We usually act on requests and provide information free of charge, but may charge a reasonable fee to cover our administrative costs of providing the information for:
- baseless or excessive/repeated requests, or
- further copies of the same information.
Alternatively, we may be entitled to refuse to act on the request.
Please consider your request responsibly before submitting it. We’ll respond as soon as we can. Generally, this will be within one month from when we receive your request but, if the request is going to take longer to deal with, we’ll come back to you and let you know.
You have the right to lodge a complaint about our processing with the relevant supervisory authority.
What happens if you do not provide us with the information we request or ask that we stop processing your information?
You are not obliged to provide your personal data to us. Please note, however, that if you do not provide the personal data necessary, or withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data, we may not be able to match you with available job opportunities.
Do we make automated decisions concerning you?
We do not make automated decisions about you.
We do carry out individual online assessments on candidates with the candidate’s consent.
Data transfers
By using the services provided by TRN, you agree and acknowledge that your personal information collected is stored and processed in the U.S.A. You also acknowledge that in certain countries or with respect to certain processing activities, the collection, transfer, storage, and processing of your information may be undertaken by trusted third partners of TRN such as web hosting providers, communication services, and web analytic providers, to help and facilitate TRN in providing certain functions. In case of such transfer to a “third country” pursuant to the GDPR, TRN will use appropriate and adequate safeguards in order to ensure the same level of data protection as provided within the EU/EEA area, in accordance with Chapter 5 of the GDPR.
How TRN protect personal information – security measures
TRN has implemented relevant security measures to protect against unauthorized access to and unlawful interception of personal information, and will strive to ensure security, integrity and confidentiality of your personal information in accordance with European Data Protection legislation. For this purpose, TRN employs encryption in all storage and transfer of data, strict user-based access with multi-factor authentication.
The period of which personal data will be stored
Personal information that we process for any purpose or purposes will not be kept for longer than is necessary for that purpose or those purposes.
Updates to this Policy
TRN reserves the right to change, amend and update this Policy, from time to time and at TRN’s sole discretion or on account of changes in law. For significant changes, we will notify you by posting a prominent notice on the Sites indicating at the top of the Policy when it was updated.
