Britannica Education is part of the Encyclopaedia Britannica Group, a global knowledge leader whose flagship products inspire curiosity and joy of learning on multiple platforms and devices.
This team of inspiring Account Executives will drive growth for Britannica Education by delivering high-quality digital solutions and curriculum to classrooms in four markets across the United States. To support innovation in Britannica Education’s portfolio, the Product Manager position will design and develop engaging educational tools for both teachers and students.
Akisha Robinson
Akisha Robinson brings expertise in teaching, e-learning, teacher training, and professional development to her role as Mid-Atlantic Account Executive. She has driven student achievement through creating student focused classrooms in addition to hiring, training and coaching teachers. Most recently she taught Science at KIPP New Jersey and prior to that she had various roles at the North Star Academy Charter School of Newark. Akisha has a MA in Elementary Education and Teaching, Special Education from the Relay Graduate School of Education, and she has a bachelor’s degree in English & Textual Studies and Philosophy from Syracuse University.
Julia Manna
Julia Manna is an educational leader with nine years’ experience in elementary education in Massachusetts teaching 4th and 5th grade. An award-winning educator, she also created, wrote, and piloted various curriculum programs including those to address the transition from in-person to remote/hybrid teaching. Julia led and trained staff in new programming, e-learning initiatives, and team goals. Julia has a MEd in Elementary Education and Teaching from Teachers College at Columbia University and a BA in Sociology from Bryn Mawr College. She will drive sales as the Account Executive for New England.
Ofier Sigal
With 20+ years of experience in the education field, Ofier Sigal is an energetic, visionary leader. Renowned for driving successful initiatives that produce purpose driven policies and compelling messaging, he is skilled at empowering educators. Most recently he was the principal of the North Shore Hebrew Academy and an adjunct professor at Hunter College, both in New York. Ofier has an MA in Educational Leadership and Administration from Baruch College, a master’s degree from LIU Hudson and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Buffalo. He will drive sales as the Urban Partnerships Account Executive in the New York City Metropolitan Area.
Delila Reed
Delila Reed brings expertise in educational leadership, curriculum development, and training to her position as Account Executive for New Jersey, New York City, and Long Island. In her most recent role as Training Specialist and Curriculum Developer for Orange Public Schools in New Jersey, she facilitated teams to develop, enhance and implement Science and STEM curriculum. Prior to these roles she was a STEM and Special Education Educator in addition to further experience in sales management. Delila has a bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Middle School Education from Kean University, an AA in Special Education and Teacher Certification from Brookdale Community College, and an associate degree in Elementary Education and Teacher Certification from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
Alex Mendiola
Alex Mendiola is joining Britannica Education as a Product Manager. Alex is a customer centric product expert with experience in instructional design and delivery, creative direction, content creation, and technology implementation. He is adept at motivating and mentoring teams with particular focus on strategic implementation of diversity initiatives in customer facing roles. Alex is also a former educator having taught English and Computer Science over six years at the middle and high school level. His recent Product Manager roles include driving product innovation for Snapsheet and Blackbaud. Alex has an MBA from The Citadel and both an MA in Education and a BA in Fine Arts from the University of Michigan.
