Daniel is a Talent Acquisition Specialist who expertly finds and hires the best Education and Technology candidates for The Renaissance Network. Daniel is part of TRN’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee, focused on finding top diversity talent across the United States.
In January 2000, Daniel enlisted in the United States Navy. He completed three deployments on the USS Mount Vernon (LSD-39) and the USS John C. Stennis (CVN-74) in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. In October 2004, Daniel reported to the Navy Recruiting Orientation Unit (NORU), earning his certification in Professional Selling Skills (PSS) and spent his next 18 years in Talent Acquisition. Daniel’s most recent assignment was at Navy Talent Acquisition Group (NTAG) in Houston, TX, where he served as the Senior Talent Acquisition Manager. Daniel led a team of 225 recruiters and 12 District Managers across 32 offices in Texas and Louisiana. His team was recognized as the best recruiting command in Navy Recruiting Command (NRC) Region Central in 2021.
Daniel has his associate degree in human resources management, business administration and supervision from Coastline Community College. He was recently certified as a Professional Recruiter and Diversity Recruiter in ARIS. Daniel is currently enrolled at the University of Houston, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies. Daniel loves to spend time with his family and enjoys working on projects at home during his time off.
