Featured EdTech Placements: Educational Partnerships Team Build for Agile Mind

A leader in providing comprehensive mathematics and science programs for middle and high schools, Agile Mind has helped school systems of all sizes rapidly achieve measurable improvements by improving teacher’s skills, enabling them to create the powerful bonds with students that make learning work. To achieve their growth and impact plan for the United States market, Agile Mind has partnered with The Renaissance Network to help build out their Educational Partnerships team. 

The Renaissance Network (TRN) is excited to announce the placement of three new Directors of Educational Partnerships for Agile Mind. Dak Jordan for the Mid-Western US, Matthew Goetzfried for Southern California, and Kathryn Pesch for Northern California. This team of inspirational, passionate, and skilled sales professionals will be pivotal in supporting the achievement of Agile Mind’s expansion plan across the United States.

Dak Jordan

Dak Jordan is an accomplished EdTech sales executive known for consultative, relationship-driven selling and long-term district partnerships. Prior to joining Agile Mind, he worked as an Account Executive at Age of Learning and Regional Sales Manager at Gaggle, supporting K–12 districts with instructional and student safety solutions. His earlier experience includes senior sales roles at Discovery Education, Blackboard, and The Active Network, following an early career in education as an elementary school teacher. Dak holds a Master of Education from Loyola University Chicago, a Bachelor of Arts in History from Pacific Lutheran University, and completed European History studies at Copenhagen University. 

Matthew Goetzfried

Matthew Goetzfried is a strategic sales and partnerships executive with more than 15 years of experience driving digital transformation across education, technology, and the public sector. Before Agile Mind, he held roles as Regional Sales Director at Kira and Senior Account Executive at Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, where he led large-scale SaaS partnerships and consistently exceeded revenue targets. His background also includes enterprise technology sales at TPx Communications and earlier leadership roles at Grand Canyon University. Matthew earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science from the University of Arizona and an MBA from Grand Canyon University. 

Kathryn Pesch

Kathryn Pesch is a proven EdTech and SaaS sales leader with over 10 years of experience spanning enterprise sales, go-to-market strategy, and partnerships. Prior to joining Agile Mind as Director of Educational Partnerships, she served as Director of Partnerships at Invo Healthcare and Regional Sales Manager at SmartLab, where she led regional growth initiatives and expanded K–12 partnerships. Earlier roles include sales leadership positions at Accelerate Learning, Mosa Mack Science, and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from California State University, Fresno, a Master’s degree in Education from National University, and completed Sales Strategy studies at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
