Featured Education Placements: Commercial Team Build for University Instructors

To achieve their growth and impact plan for the United States market, University Instructors has partnered with The Renaissance Network (TRN) to help build out their commercial team in marketing and sales. 

TRN is excited to announce the placement of three new go-to-market executives for University Instructors in the 1st quarter of 2026: Robert Belous as Business Development Executive for Florida, Allison Maudlin as Vice President of Marketing, and Lauren Easley as Business Development Executive for Georgia. This team of inspirational, passionate, and skilled professionals will be pivotal in supporting the achievement of University Instructors’ expansion plan across the United States.

Robert D. Belous

Business Development Executive for Florida: Robert D. Belous is a seasoned education and business development executive with more than three decades of leadership experience spanning K–12 education, government relations, and high-growth education organizations. He most recently served as Director of Business Development at K12–Stride, where he drove transformative sales and marketing strategies and expanded enterprise and international partnerships.

Over the course of his career, Robert has held senior leadership roles including Senior Director of District Partnerships at Learning Sciences International, Vice President of Program Development at Graduation Alliance, and multiple district-level administrative positions, including Director of Secondary Schools and Principal. His background also includes service in the U.S. Navy as a Battalion Military Instructor. Belous holds a Bachelor’s degree in K–12 Education from Central Michigan University, a Master of Science in Biology from the University of Michigan–Flint, an MBA in Organizational Leadership and Redesign from Fort Hays State University, and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Leadership from Eastern Michigan University.

Allison Maudlin

Vice President of Marketing: Allison Maudlin is a collaborative and innovative marketing executive skilled in maximizing brand exposure and pipeline growth with an eye on securing and growing new client relationships. She has more than 15 years of experience driving growth, engagement, and brand elevation in the EdTech and K–12 sectors. She has served in senior leadership roles including Vice President of Marketing at BookNook and New Meridian and Vice President of Growth at CenterPoint Education Solutions, where she strengthened brand engagement and delivered revenue growth through data-driven, multi-channel marketing initiatives. 

Earlier in her career, Allison held high-impact marketing roles at Varsity Tutors and Pacific Metrics (an ACT company), contributing to large-scale product launches, national partnerships, and brand expansion efforts. She earned her MBA from Louisiana State University, Shreveport, and holds a B.A. in Communication Design with a minor in Marketing from California State University, Chico.

Lauren Easley

Business Development Executive for Georgia: Lauren Easley is an accomplished educational technology leader with more than a decade of experience spanning K–12 education, curriculum development, and strategic sales leadership. Most recently as a School Partnership Director at Presence Learning, she consistently achieved or exceeded annual quotas while leading partnerships across multiple states and major metro districts in the Southeast. She previously managed and developed inside sales teams, exceeded personal and team quotas year over year, and earned President’s Club recognition for outstanding performance.

Lauren began her career in education as a second-grade teacher and STEAM coordinator with DeKalb County School System, where she led technology integration initiatives and faculty training. She later contributed to early-stage curriculum development and account management for an online learning startup, GPA Learn. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama and a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Central Michigan University
